*What is a home inspection? A home inspection is a thorough examination of the condition of a property by a trained and certified expert.
*Why is a home inspection important? A home inspection is important because it allows the client to make an informed decision about purchasing the property based on its current condition.
*What is a Fire Safety Consultation? A fire safety consultation is a recommendation on the condition of the fire protection system at the property, to help identify any potential hazard or non-compliance issues, by a trained and certified expert.
What is a home survey? A home survey is a general examination of the current condition of the structure by a trained and certified expert.
Why is a home survey important? A home survey is important in case of a Landlord/Tenant dispute, or the tenant may request a Real Estate Expert to certify the condition of the structure before a new lease agreement is signed.
Is there any special equipment needed for the inspection? Yes. Special equipment is often used to help identify deficiencies that may not be visible with the naked eyes.
Q: What is included in your typical home inspection? A typical inspection includes everything from the roof to the foundation of the property except, portable or uninstalled components. Detached garages, utility houses, residential recreational facilities are excluded.
Q: Do you inspect for mold? No. We currently do not offer mold inspection services. However, we may recommend another qualified service contractor.
Q: Do you inspect for Termites? No. We currently do not offer termite inspection services. However, we do recommend our client obtain a termite inspection with a qualified service contractor.
Q: How long does a typical home inspection take? A typical home inspection takes approximately 3 to 4 hours to complete. However, other contributing factors may require additional time, for example, the condition of the property.
Q: When can the inspection be conducted? Our inspection typically takes place based on the availability of the inspector and all other parties involved for security and safety reasons. However, the client, the seller, or someone above 18 years old must be present during the inspection of all occupied properties.
Q: How soon after the inspection will the report be made available? Our expected turnaround time is 24-48 hours after the inspection is completed.
Q: How do I obtain a copy of my report? All reports will be emailed to the clients upon completion of the inspection.
